Serverless Github
Over 1/3 (247,103 as of 2014) of all open-source repositories are hosted on GitHub, a centralized web service that relies on several servers. The open-source code of the world needs an unbreakable, unhackable and 100% reliable hosting network with absolutely zero downtime. That is SAFEhub.
History
First officially mentioned by user "Eggy" on the SAFE Forums' "Most Wanted Apps" thread (Aug 2014), an app for hosting and collaborating on open-source projects in real-time is of vital importance. The Network is licensed under GPL v3, meaning all derivatives of it must also be open-sorce, so all of these apps and networks must be able to reside on a completely SAFE system. This app is not yet being developed, but it would be financially wise to do so.
Features
The ability to collaborate and push code edits to the master project in real time, both with a slick UI and from command-line is the most vital feature of this app. Additional optional capabilities include bounty systems to incentivize coders to help with your project, testing environments to run samples of the code, and feedback system that can help track user's experiences with the software. Giving all of the valuable open-source projects of the world a 100% safe & backed-up place to reside is still the most important part of this app.
